Kelley is a Central California native and has been playing bass and guitar in bands since the late 80’s. He is currently involved in this project as well as the Las Vegas based band Midnight Clover. Previous bands include; Gorilla Man Gun, 406, Seven Planet Sun, Sweet Virgina (Rolling Stones Tribute), The Pleasure Chemical, and Sick Little Monkeys. Influences include; Tool, Primus, Jaco Pastorius, Foo Fighters, The Cult, and STP. He is also a working mixed-media artist, view his work at Kele Studio.

James holds a Masters Degree in Music Theory & Composition and has performed classical, jazz, and rock music for over 30 years. He was invited to play bass for a project led by legendary jazz organist Johnny “Hammond” Smith that performed at the Berkeley Jazz Festival. Bass influences include Stanley Clarke, John Paul Jones, Geezer Butler, and Justin Chancellor. James is currently a YouTube content creator with about 375,000 followers and 75 million video views – Freakin Reviews .
